MortgageMax welcome their latest addition to the team – Sophia Vorster from Devpro Nationwide.
Sophia’s career stared in 2000 when she joined the Wizard Franchise Group as a consultant after a successful career as a personal banker at Standard Bank.
She became the Wizard Group’s first Franchise of the year and later was one of their 5 Macro Franchises doing a monthly home loan business to the value of over R100 000 000 bonds per month. Since then she opened a national mortgage brand, Devpro Nationwide Homeloans which focused on assisting developers in obtaining bond finance for their prospective property buyers.
“Since 2008 I saw that my services where limited to developers only and I expanded to offering a direct home loan bond service to the public. I felt that prospective property purchasers needed to be educated upfront as to their loan amount qualifying value and on the bond processes prior to the purchasing of a property. It just makes sense to know the process and what amount of finance available and paperwork is needed upfront. It takes away a lot of the stress from the purchasers”
“I also saw the need to meet my clients on their time schedule and it one of the few mortgage originators companies available after hours and over weekends to do business. Our services are obligation free but an absolute necessity for any potential property purchaser in SA.
Since November 2012 Sophia joined the MortgageMax bond broking firm and is looking forward to extending all their additional services as a value proposition to her clients.

Sophia Vorster has been in the home loan origination industry for the past 15 years. Prior to that, she was a successful Private banker at Standard bank for 12 years. The combination has proven to make her very successful in the origination industry as she can read her clients’ financials and income packages to such an extend that her bond approval ratio is of the few of her piers getting close to a 100% bond approval rate.
